Quantcast

A Poem for You

UPTICK

We were sitting there, and
I made a joke about how
it doesn’t dovetail: time,
one minute running out
faster than the one in front
it catches up to.
That way, I said,
there can be no waste.
Waste is virtually eliminated.

To come back for a few hours to
the present subject, a painting,
looking like it was seen,
half turning around, slightly apprehensive,
but it has to pay attention
to what’s up ahead: a vision.
Therefore poetry dissolves in
brilliant moisture and reads us
to us.
A faint notion. Too many words,
but precious.

In Which We Stave Off Age Related Cognitive And Memory Decline

Science Corner: Cosmic Bats & Dino Dogs

    by MOLLY LAMBERT

Scientific terminology is getting hella rad!

DNA from a polar bear jawbone has revealed the Arctic species first originated about 150,000 years ago. It has been known that polar bears evolved from brown bears, but until now, it wasn't clear when this happened.

People dress pets up like people because they are control freaks.

Common weedkiller turns male frogs into females.

Cosmic Bat: Island of Stars in the making on the outskirts of Orion

LOL missing link between humans and primates actually between lemurs and lorises

Space exploration with manned shuttles is more or less over ya'll

Was dog a dinosaur? A four-legged animal about the size of a large dog with a long tail is now the oldest known relative of dinosaurs

Throughout time modern man has been mostly monogamous. So much for all those shitty misogynist evolutionary biology theories! We already debunked those last year.

great name for my instrumental post-rock band: Seals Sleep As They Sink In The Sea

Queen Ant Will Sacrifice Colony To Retain Throne

    Even Spineless Animals Feel Pain

    Giant Snake Ate Baby Dinosaurs

Darkness Begets Dishonesty: Dim lights can make it seem as if no one is watching, triggering moral transgressions in many people.

Lopsided Stellar Disks Help Black Holes Guzzle Gas

Octopus imitates flounder in the Atlantic

Sea Squirt offers hope for Alzheimer's disease

Mental activity could stave off age related cognitive and memory decline
